Chapter 48 Jessie I want you

“If I don’t suppress, you have any idea?”

Ryan gave a sneer. He slapped his hand away and gulped down a drink. The spicy liquid ran down his throat, stinging his intestines and causing a burning pain in his stomach.

Mark didn’t know what it was like to like a person and he didn’t know why his good friend who was always confident became so decadent every time when he encountered something about Jessica. He could only look at Jeffrey and asked him for help.

But Jeffrey gave him a calm look and then looked at the door for a while. He said suddenly. “The little girl didn’t accept you may not because she doesn’t like you. Maybe she just can’t accept that her brother likes her.”

Ryan stopped drinking and turned to look at him. His eyes were dark. A moment later, he took a sip of alcohol and said hoarsely. “There are too many possibilities. Who knows which one is true?”

He twitched his lips with self-mockery. Perhaps, she had always regarded him only as her brother.

“If you don’t try, you won’t know what’s true or false.” Jeffrey smiled and raised the corner of the eye who looked unspeakable evil. “Play hard to get. Have you heard of it?”

He stood up, and waved to Amy Scott who just came in and stared at Ryan, “Beautiful lady, would you like to come for a drink?”

“Jessie, I want you…”

The man kissed Jessica’s ear lobe. The outer corner of his eyes went scarlet with lust, which were gorgeous. He gasped, his hand moving over her body. His strong muscles were moving with heavy breathing, which looked sexy and charming.

Jessica opened her eyes confusedly and saw the handsome face of the man. Her sleepiness disappeared in an instant.

“Don’t!” She shrieked and sat up, realizing it was only a nightmare.

Jessica wiped the cold sweat on her forehead, got up and poured a glass of water to drink, which made her feel better.

She picked up her phone and looked. It was still early, only six o ‘clock. Clara sent her a voice message saying that the director had informed her that filming would resume at 2p.m.

Her mind was filled with scenes of her dream. She replied listlessly, “Ok,” and went to wash and put on make up.

The director decided to start shooting, but she didn’t know whether Alex was changed or not.

Jessica had the director and other staff’s numbers, but she was in no mood to ask. Her heart was full of what her brother said yesterday.

“Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!” She slapped her head hard to force herself to read the script.

But as she prepared to take the script, she realized that it seemed to have been left at home.

Jessica frowned and called her mother, “Mom, can you please go to the living room or my room to see if there’s my script?”

“Hold on. I’ll look… Yes, it’s in your room. Your brother is just at home. I’ll let him take it to you.” The mother said.

Hearing the words “your brother”, Jessica’s face turned pale. She refused hurriedly. “No, mom! Ryan is so busy. I’ll just go home and fetch it!”

Who knew if her brother used any of those things today. They were highly addictive.

“I’ll just ask him to drop it off. His flight is today, so I don’t know when he’ll be back next time.” The mother finished and hung up directly without giving her a chance to refuse.

Jessica bit her lip and sent her a lot of messages, which basically meant don’t let her brother take it to her.

But the mother replied only one message that he arrived half an hour later and never spoke again.

Jessica looked at the message and sighed heavily.

Well, that didn’t work either. She had to find a way to persuade her brother to quit using those things.

As soon as the idea popped up, she received a message.

It was from her brother.

“Open the door.”

Just three words, but Jessica read for several times. She just relieved slightly when she made sure that this was her brother’s normal tone.

In a few moments, there was a knock on the door.

Jessica took a deep breath, and went to open the door. But she didn’t go out and just popped her head around the door.

Ryan stood at the door in a suit and tie, who looked indifferent. She cast a furtive glance at him, saw that he did not look as if he had used contraband, and came completely out of the door.

“Ry…” As soon as she spoke, she saw Amy Scott came from the elevator. She swallowed the rest of the words and wanted to wait until Amy Scott was gone.

But Amy just went straight to her brother and held his arm intimately, who twined around her brother like dodder flower.

What was going on?

Jessica looked straight at Amy for a few moments and then turned to look at Ryan.

He usually hated physical contact with people, so she thought he would directly push Amy away. But he didn’t move as if he did not dislike Amy’s touch.

“Jessica, your script.” Amy handed the script to Jessica with a smug face.

Jessica ignored her demonstration, took the script, and said thank you to her. But her eyes were on Ryan, and wanted to ask him about his relationship with Amy.

But he didn’t look at her, and his eyes were always on Amy.

Jessica clutched the corner of her coat unconsciously, who felt vaguely uncomfortable.

“You’d better not to look at other people’s boyfriend like this. Or I’ll think you want to be the other woman. Amy stood in front of Ryan, blocking their view.

Jessica didn’t say a word. She had mixed feelings. Her brother had became Amy’s boyfriend? When did it happen?

Was that her brother used the illicit drugs suddenly concerned with Amy?

“Didn’t you hear me?” Amy saw her keep silent and raised her voice, “Do you realize it’s rude of you to look at my boyfriend like that?”

Jessica was little annoyed by his shouting, but it was her fault. “I’m sorry.”

After he arrived, Ryan kept watching her out of the corner of his eye. But she just looked at him a few times. Even when she heard Amy said he was her boyfriend, her expression didn’t change.

He frowned invisibly and said coldly, “The script is here. Let’s go.”

“Okay, I’m coming.” Amy smiled coquettishly, cast a provocative glance at Jessica and trotted to chase him.

Jessica looked at their harmonious backs and felt strangely stuck. But her parents couldn’t interfere in his brother’s affairs, let alone her.

She pressed her lips, went back to her room, and closed the door.

Ryan stopped when he heard the door close. He looked at the closed door with increasing indifference.

“Let go.” “He said coldly.

Amy didn’t know why he who was just fine changed his face suddenly, but still obediently let go.
